As the world is uplifted by different advancements in science and technology, it is also facing a big downfall in terms of the morale of every men and women.
Nowadays, people with weak minds usually say that everything that they wish to have can be get in just a click of the hand. These people with rude minds are numb about what is really going on around them.
We are now in the 20th century, the time where people already have the intelligence, the courage to explore life, to cross the boundaries that God had set when he first created the first man and woman of this world.
People of today give much more importance on material things when in fact it is not supposedly the things that they are doing. God does not want this crooked behavior of his people; want he wanted to see is a world full of love, a world where people are living not only for themselves, but also for all the people surrounding him.
Now that the world is suffering from a great crisis, people should realize that it is the time to give back all the good things to God, all the things that he has given to each and everyone.
He is not telling you to be as holy as him, but somewhat good as him. Thank God there are people or let us say groups of people who answered God’s call. The non-governmental groups, foundations, and organizations around the world are the perfect example of God’s love for his people.
These benevolent organizations are formed because of the determination to help the less fortunate people. Usually they perform medical missions in deprived communities to promote international health, conduct trainings and symposiums that will educate at the same time improve the lives of people who belong to this kind of community.
These groups, foundations, and organizations are here not to make their names shine nor to earn publicity, but they are here doing good things for the people because they want to.
They believe that serving the people who are in need is just like serving God in return.
God is so proud he has these kinds of people, but he will be more proud if all the people in the world will participate and help such organizations in promoting its primary objective which is to lessen the number of people who are victims by the misfortunes through international health missions and other philanthropic services.
The said organizations believe that anyone who has a good health, a strong faith in God, and a heart that has the love for others, has the greatest wealth in this world.

Lessening Burdens Through International Health

As man grows older his needs also grow bigger. Aside from the basic needs like the food to eat, clothes to wear, and a shelter to live in, he looks for other things that will bring him the pleasure of living but then he cannot find the contentment.
On the other hand, there are people who cannot find the pleasure of living because they do not have anything to enjoy, their lives is in misery. They are victims of misfortunes.
Hapless, unfortunate and poor as we call them are the people who have no voice, who have no chance to prove to the world that they are part of it because others misjudged or underestimate them.
They may seem dirty because of their unclean clothes, but still they are our brothers. What they need are love, respect and care. Let us be fair to them. Let us try to lessen or at least diminish the burdens in their lives.
Non-governmental organizations around the world answer the call of the poor. These philanthropists make plans and actions on how to help such people effectively.
One of the effective actions that they are implementing is promoting global health or international health since they see that the poor cannot afford to undergo proper health related procedures and services.
What they do is they go to deprived communities and identify what are the needs of its people. Usually, the services provided by the NGOs include direct health care through medical missions, community potable water, and the mitigation or lessening of epidemic diseases and malnutrition in the community.
Aside from this, they also conduct trainings that will educate the poor community dwellers on how to achieve good health.
"The greatest wealth is international health", that is what they believe. So they make ways to help especially the poor who really deserves to have it in any form, in any ways.
The kind acts of such philanthropic groups may seem simple in other people’s eyes but not in God’s. Even if the services and benevolence of the NGOs may not be very obvious to the world, but for the poor the kindness of such groups is a gift.
Because of them, many poor lives are now enlightened with happiness, no more miseries. The misfortunes of the poor are now gone, no more sadness. The burdens of the poor are now lessen, no more worries.
